First Past the line, multiple voting

Allow for the students to select 7 girls and 7 boys with the results showing the total number of votes for each student

This could potentially apply to First Past the Post Voting whereby multiple candidates can be voted for and each would receive 1 vote. Example being a voter must select 7 boys and 7 girls out of the maximum number of candidates. Each of the 7 candidates from either election category would receive 1 vote.
