These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the websites, applications and online services provided by Timetabling Solutions Pty Ltd ("Timetabling Solutions", "we", "our" or "us").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our Services.

3. Scope
These Terms apply to all users of our Services, including:
- timetabling.education;
- Management Portal;
- Preferences Manager;
- Daily Organiser;
- Course Manager;
- Staffing;
- Staff Access Portal;
- Student Access Portal;
- our public websites;
- our support portal and knowledge base; and
- any other websites, software, applications or online services operated by Timetabling Solutions.
Some products and services are also subject to additional agreements.
Where applicable, these include:
- Privacy Policy;
- Acceptable Use Policy;
- Student Acceptable Use Policy;
- Cloud Subscription Agreement;
- V10 End User Licence Agreement;
- Service and Support Agreement;
- Consultation Terms and Conditions; and
- Training Course Terms and Conditions.
Where another agreement specifically applies to a product or service, that agreement takes precedence over these Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
4. Eligibility
You may only use our Services if:
- you have been authorised by your school or organisation; or
- you are otherwise authorised by Timetabling Solutions.
Students may only access services made available by their school.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to:
- use only your own account;
- keep your password or authentication credentials secure;
- use multi-factor authentication where available;
- notify your school or Timetabling Solutions immediately if you suspect unauthorised access;
- ensure information associated with your account remains accurate.
You must not:
- share your account with another person;
- attempt to access another user's account;
- impersonate another individual; or
- attempt to bypass authentication or security controls.
Schools remain responsible for managing user access to their own environments.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services lawfully, responsibly and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy.
You must not use the Services to:
- break any law;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Services;
- introduce malicious software;
- attempt unauthorised access;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- harass, threaten or abuse others; or
- undertake any activity prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.
Timetabling Solutions may suspend or terminate access where misuse is detected.
7. Privacy
We are committed to protecting personal information.
Our collection, use, disclosure and storage of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed in accordance with that policy.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, documentation, designs, graphics, logos, databases and content, are owned by or licensed to Timetabling Solutions.
These rights are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
9. Limited Licence
Subject to these Terms, Timetabling Solutions grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for their intended educational or business purposes.
You must not:
- copy software except where permitted by law;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble software except where permitted by law;
- remove copyright notices;
- commercially exploit any part of the Services without written permission; or
- use automated tools to scrape or harvest information from the Services.
10. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Services.
By uploading content, you grant Timetabling Solutions a non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.
You are responsible for ensuring your content:
- complies with applicable laws;
- does not infringe another person's rights;
- complies with our Acceptable Use Policy; and
- is appropriate for an educational environment.
Timetabling Solutions may remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable laws.
11. Suggestions and Feedback
We welcome suggestions for improving our products and services.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any ideas, suggestions, enhancement requests or feedback you provide may be used by Timetabling Solutions without restriction or compensation.
This does not affect ownership of your own data or personal information.
12. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable and secure services.
However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Services may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- scheduled maintenance;
- emergency maintenance;
- security incidents;
- telecommunications failures;
- third-party service interruptions; or
- events beyond our reasonable control.
Where practicable, we will provide advance notice of planned maintenance.
13. Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party services.
Timetabling Solutions is not responsible for the availability, security or content of third-party websites or services.
Your use of those services is governed by the terms of the relevant provider.
14. Security
We employ reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect the Services.
Users also have security responsibilities, including:
- maintaining secure passwords;
- protecting their devices;
- reporting suspected security incidents; and
- complying with school security requirements.
15. Suspension and Termination
Timetabling Solutions may suspend or terminate access where:
- these Terms have been breached;
- access creates a security risk;
- required by law;
- requested by the contracting school; or
- necessary to protect the Services or other users.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timetabling Solutions excludes liability for indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Timetabling Solutions against claims, losses, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.
18. Changes to the Services
We may improve, modify or discontinue features from time to time.
Where changes materially affect users, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
19. Transfer of Business
If Timetabling Solutions undergoes a merger, acquisition, business sale or similar corporate transaction, our rights and obligations under these Terms may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
Any transfer of personal information will continue to be managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will always be published on our website.
Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.
