Hi Sonja,
For classes that are not in the same roll class, you need to link the groups together by creating a multi roll class group on task [7E] MRCGs.
If classes are in an MRCG and have the same teacher and/or room they will appear as a composite class within Timetabling Solutions V10.1 and are shown as such on [7A] Class Information with a brown cell colour for the teacher/room. All such classes are also listed on [8J] Composite Classes (Teacher and Room).
If this does not address your need or you would like any further information please contact support@timetabling.com.au

We would love a function where classes could be indicated as composite, when not in the same roll group.
This would be beneficial for a composite class in year 11/12 for example
Currently we have to indicate that one has a different roll group to that of the students enrolled in it (e.g. indicate that the year 11 class is in roll group 12) to be able to combine them as composites.
This has knock on effects when for using the data in our LMS (Daymap) or running reports for staff use from TTS Timetable Development Module.
In course manager, the composite classes are linked by class code and being able to connect them this way would be really user friendly.
