TT - Simply allocate teacher to "any year xx English class"

When allocating teachers to classes in 7A - Class Information, I would love to have the ability to allocate Mr Johnny Depp to "any one of the Year 10 English or Maths classes" rather than having to specifiy that he is teaching 10Maths1A, or 10Maths1B. This would remove the need for a lot of my manual problem solving.

Thank you for your suggestion and my apologies for the delayed response. Unfortunately, we won’t be taking on your suggestion.


In Timetabling Solutions V10, you can set minimum faculty limits for teachers (on screen [4D] Teacher Faculties and Limits) and then use auto staffing (on [7B] Class Staffing) to help resolve clashes. Moving beyond this would require significant changes in our program. Considering the ramifications throughout the timetable construction process, we are not able to add the functionality that you have suggested.
