Management Portal

When you first log into the Management Portal, you will be presented with a wizard that tells you to create a Campus / Academic Year.

Please note that this is only required if you do not have an existing Daily Organiser dataset for 2025. If you already have a 2025 Daily Organiser dataset with information entered (99% of schools will), you do not need to set up the Campus / Academic Year until 2026.

The Campus configuration will replace published timetable groups in order to provide schools with a clearer, more sustainable structure for managing timetables and daily operations. Campuses will form the required structure for publishing timetables and syncing with portals or administration systems.

Why are campuses required (for 2026)?

  • Replacement of published groups: Published timetable groups have been retired. Schools were often creating multiple groups, sometimes by mistake, which caused confusion and publishing delays.
  • Single structure across all apps: A campus defines the school site and its academic years. This makes it the anchor point for Daily Organiser datasets, timetables, and integrations such as LISS.
  • Future readiness: Campuses let you manage multiple academic years in one place, making transitions between semesters and years simpler.

What this means for you (for 2026)

  • Before publishing timetables, you must create at least one Campus | Academic Year in the Management Portal. Ask your Global or School Administrator to go to [2A] Manage School to set them up.
  • Once campuses are established, all publishing (to Daily Organiser, portals, or LISS integrations) is then tied to a campus, rather than to published timetable groups.

When presented with the screen below, simply press the red Snooze button, as this is not relevant for the time being. Once you wish to create a Daily Organiser dataset for 2026 and the 2026 timetable is finalised, you would need to follow the steps listed in the wizard to create the Campus and 2026 Academic Year.

Daily Organiser

When logging into the Classic View of the Daily Organiser for the first time in Term 4 2025, you will need to press Open Legacy to open up your existing 2025 Daily Organiser dataset.

In the Modern view, it will be a slightly different format – but the same button.

“Legacy” refers to Daily Organiser datasets that existed prior to the update released on Monday, September 29th. Given that these follow the “old” structure, we have termed them ‘Legacy’ files.

Once the Legacy Daily Organiser dataset is opened in Daily Organiser (Classic on https://do1.timetabling.education) or Daily Organiser (Modern on https://do3.timetabling.education), the functionality of Daily Organiser remains relatively unchanged. All of the screens will be in the same location as prior to the update (the main issue will be opening the Daily Organiser file; once opened, it should be relatively smooth sailing).

The web Daily Organiser application's modern and classic views use the same database. You can switch to the modern view by clicking on your profile picture, clicking 'Profile', scrolling down, and selecting modern.

If you decide to continue to use modern view and have multiple users, it is recommended that all users access the same version, as the timing of data saving is different.

Publishing Timetable to Web Daily Organiser from V10.1 Desktop Application

In order to publish the timetable to the Web Daily Organiser, Campuses, please note that timetablers will need to be on Version 10.1.0.104 or later. If you are on an outdated version, you will not be able to publish to the Web Daily Organiser Campuses from the V10 desktop application. To update, simply go to the Welcome Page of the V10 application and press Check for Updates.

Open the Management Portal, scroll down to the V10 Product Page; https://mp.timetabling.education/Interface/DesktopV10

Simply download the *.exe file, run it once downloaded, and follow the steps to reinstall the application. Once complete, you should see Version 10.1.0.104 (or later) in the top-left corner of the screen. Please note that uninstalling will reset the Display Settings and Configured File Locations. The user will need to reinstate these configurations (so perhaps it's a good idea to screenshot these prior to uninstalling).

The Publish dialog also looks quite different. The main difference is that you need to select Publish To: Legacy Published Timetable Group. In the subsequent drop-down box, select whichever published timetable group the school wants to publish, enter the Start Date, and press Publish.

Publishing Timetable to Web Daily Organiser from File Explorer (used to be Project Folder)

The [5A] File Explorer screen (previously coined: “Project Folder”) can be used to publish timetable files to the Web Daily Organiser. However, this screen cannot be used to publish timetable files to existing Legacy Publish Timetable Groups – it can only be used to publish to the Campus structure.

If you are not using the Campus configuration until the beginning of 2026, the File Explorer screen cannot be used to publish timetables to the Web Daily Organiser for the remainder of 2025. You will need to use the V10.1 desktop application instead.

** Notice that, unlike the V10.1 desktop app, [5A] File Explorer does not offer an option to select Legacy Publish Timetable Groups.

LISS Integrations

If you have a LISS sync to your administration system, you can continue to use your current setup without creating campuses, as existing integrations with ‘Legacy’ files remain supported.

If you want to sync a ‘Legacy’ Daily Organiser dataset (the remainder of 2025), please ensure that the Campus / Academic Year components are left blank. The Daily Organiser dataset marked published (blue world symbol in [6A] Organisers) will continue to be synced.

If you want to sync a Campus dataset (starting in 2026), please ensure that you have selected the desired Campus and academic year in the integration. Even if another Daily Organiser dataset is marked as published, it will use whichever Campus/Year is selected on the LISS profile.

An additional feature is included in the LISS details, which allows users to sync for a future date. For more info, please visit: https://timetabling.elevio.help/en/articles/942-management-portal-task-7a-sif-liss-integrations-sync-future-date
