School Administrator (applies from 30th September 2025).
A new school administrator role is being added, and it is recommended for Timetablers who oversee school data configuration.
This role can manage school details, campuses, term dates, students, teachers, rooms, year levels, duty areas, faculties, student and teacher access portal settings, Daily Organiser notification settings, including file explorer and export bundles.
The school administrator role does not have access to Security, SSO, Email Servers or SIF/LISS Integrations.
Ask your Global Administrator to assign the role via the Management Portal Task [1B] User Roles.
The Settings | Dashboard tab in the Management Portal allows school administrators to customise the home page for their community. From this page, administrators can upload and display the school banner, create and maintain staff contact lists, add helpful links for students, upload school newsletters in PDF format, and list current activities for the user who is signed in. These features allow schools to present relevant information in a central, accessible location, ensuring students and staff have quick access to key resources.
