Users can be assigned to multiple schools and access all sites using a single login.
Each user can have different roles at each site. For example, a user may be a Daily Organiser and Teacher at one school but only a Teacher (without Daily Organiser access) at another.
Managing Multi-Site Users
A Global Administrator who is a multi-site user can:
Assign users to additional schools
Set roles for users at each site
Steps to Assign a User to Multiple Schools:
Open Manage Users and select the user.
In the top menu, click Schools and check the boxes for the sites the user should access.
For each site:
Open Manage Users
Select the user
In the top menu, click Roles and assign the appropriate role(s)
Important: Site Access Rules
Global Administrators are not automatically multi-site users.
To assign users to a site, a Global Administrator must already have access to that site. This follows the "need to have to give" rule.
If a Global Administrator does not have access to a required site, email support@timetabling.com.au with:
The user’s name and email
The schools they need access to
Their roles at each school
Timetabling Solutions will confirm with both schools before granting access.
Switching Between Schools
Once a user has been assigned to multiple schools, they can switch between them after signing in.To change sites, click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen. A drop-down list will appear, displaying all the schools you have access to. Simply select the school you want to access.
