Summary:  When attempting to activate V10, after entering your password, the app selector will display instead of the select school option, and you cannot activate V10.

Cause:  Known issue, the user has completed an account recovery from the activation application.

Resolution 1. A permanent fix is pending. A workaround is to open the browser in which you recently performed the account recovery and clear the cookies.

Edge: edge://settings/siteData?searchSubpage=timetabling.education

Then click on the rubbish bin.

Resolution 2: If the issue remains, ask your Global Administrator or User Administrator to delete your user account and re-create it.

To do this, open the Management Portal at https://timetabling.education

  • On the task tree go to [1] Manage Users
  • Select the user, click Delete and click Yes to confirm
  • From the top menu, click + Add
  • Enter the user details, click Save and Next
  • Select the relevant Roles, click Save and Close
  • Ensure the user row is selected. From the top menu, click Activations.  This will send the user an email to create a new password.
  • Ask the user to attempt the V10 activation with the new user account.
