The web Daily Organiser module will no longer have the Export | GeneralAccess - V9 option from January 2025.

Timetabling Solutions 10.1 is scheduled to be released in mid-2025 and will not support General Access|TimetableFind.

  • The 10.1 Welcome Page will not include Configure File Locations | Configure General Access tab.
  • The 10.1 Timetable Development module will not include the Publish Timetable | Save to V9 General Access button.

WHY ARE WE RETIRING GENERAL ACCESS|TIMETABLFIND?
Our user community has requested a web-based version of General Access for years, with role-based access to various tasks.  The requested functionality included;

  • The ability for a student to view their timetable, changes and activities.
  • Teachers to view their timetable, class lists, changes, activities and the bulletin.
  • Certain staff members to view all timetables, class lists, activities, changes and free teachers/students/rooms.
  • Other staff to view all data including teacher totals and statistics.

To protect personally identifiable data, it is necessary to ensure that only authenticated users can access a web application. The cloud applications, Daily Reports and the Staff Access Portal were developed to provide the requested functionality and meet our user community's security requirements. The new cloud applications were released with Timetabling Solutions Version 10 in April 2022.

WHAT ACTIONS DO I NEED TO TAKE?

If you currently use General Access|TimetableFind:
We suggest using the Staff Access Portal included in your current subscription and trying out Daily Reports  (available for purchase)

A fee is applied to Daily Reports due to the hosting fees of a cloud application. Not all schools require Daily Reports as they use a Student Admin System to access similar information.

We recommend investigating using our API on https://coreservices.timetabling.education

Alternatively, Timetabling Solutions V10.1 will continue to include the ability to create your customised export files.
