Symptom:  When attempting to export to Compass from Timetabling Solutions V10, the LISSDataManager export application closes after clicking Upload All/Export Standard Classes and the export does not continue.

Cause: The Documents folder is no longer on the local machine, so it is unable to create the LissData.xml required to complete the export. This usually occurs when the user has configured OneDrive to back up the Documents folder, which moves the Documents folder and all its contents off the local machine and into OneDrive.

Resolution: Cancel the backup of the Documents folder in OneDrive and copy/paste the Documents folder back to your local machine.

1. Open OneDrive settings 

         a. Select the OneDrive cloud icon in your notification area
         b. Select the OneDrive Help and Settings icon
         c. Select Settings



2. Go to the Sync and backup tab

3. Select Manage Backup




4. To stop backing up a folder, select the toggle for the folder to turn it off. A confirmation dialog will appear presenting some options.


  • Note:

    When you stop backing up a folder, you can move files from OneDrive to your computer manually by doing the following:

    - opening the shortcut to OneDrive
    - selecting the relevant files
    - drag them to the location on your computer

    Any new files you add to your computer's folder will not back up to OneDrive.
