Symptoms: When attempting to publish data using a LISS integration, the sync fails and the log entry displays "Could not contact the remote server"
Cause: The remote server is the application you are attempting to send the data to.
This will usually be a student admin system, attendance or learning management application. The remote server is either offline, a firewall is preventing access to it or it has been configured not to accept data from external systems.
Resolution: Only the company of the application that you are trying to send data can assist
1. check the details you have entered in the LISS Integration configuration are correct
2. contact the company of the application that you are trying to send data to, providing the details from the "View Log" page on your LISS Integration Details, including the date/time of the attempted sync
