There are two methods for swapping the classes allocated to one period with the classes in another period.  When using these functions, all classes that were allocated to the first period will move to the second, and vice versa.  You can choose whether or not to move meetings.

Swap

Click the Swap button, and a select period screen appears as a pop-up.

- Click on the two periods to swap so they are highlighted in yellow, and click OK.
- If any meetings are allocated in the selected periods, you will be asked if you want to move the meetings as well.

- If the swap creates an issue for a teacher, room or group unavailable, you will be alerted to the first of those issues and need to accept the change.

Quick Swap

Click the Quick Swap button, and it turns red with the other functions on the screen no longer active.
- On the work line, click the cell for the first period you want to swap, and while holding the left mouse button down, drag and drop the cell to the period you want to swap with.

- If any meetings are allocated in the selected periods, you will be asked if you want to move the meetings as well.

- If the swap creates an issue for a teacher, room or group unavailable, you will be alerted to the first of those issues and need to accept the change.

- Red text at the top of the screen will indicate which periods have been swapped. If you want to undo that change, click on the red text to undo.

- Click the Quick Swap button again to exit Quick Swap mode.

NOTE: After using Swap or Quick Swap, it is important to go to [13J] Check Allocations to ensure that no spread problems have been created. Note there may be more unavailable issues than the one reported, as only the first one is specified in the message, so these should also be checked.
