Timetabling Solutions V10.1 activation requires a user with an account on https://timetabling.education with the role of Timetabler to 'sign in' to operate V10.1.
The activation is remembered. However, for data protection, we recommend signing out after use or when leaving your machine.
When publishing a timetable, you need to connect to the Management Portal on https://timetabling.education, which requires authentication.
The Management Portal has a 10-minute session timeout that cannot be edited.
Users may experience being prompted to re-authenticate each time they publish a timetable for use with the Web Daily Organiser when a time of greater than 10 minutes elapses from their last sign-in. This is a security measure.
Note: The sign-in page displayed when re-authenticating in V10 has a "Remember Username" checkbox that does not remember the username. This is a restriction of the Microsoft Webview2 component that is used to display web pages in desktop applications. The "Remember Username" function appears as it is the same sign-in page used when accessing from a browser.
