On the V10 Welcome Page, the hyperlink "Check for Updates" will compare the version number on your machine with a version number on our website.  

If a later number is found, you will be offered to download and install the update.

Applying an update will do the following;

  • remove the current V10 application from your machine, but will not remove any data
  • remove the pinned shortcut from your Taskbar
  • install the latest V10 application

    Note:  the new V10 application may take 10-20 seconds to appear in your Applications list


Troubleshooting

If you are unable to find V10 do the following;

  • Search your applications list, on your Taskbar click on the windows icon and type "Timetabling Solutions Version 10"

    - if found, right-click the application and select Pin to Taskbar (recommend removing the previously pinned V10 app from your Taskbar)

    - if NOT found, download and reinstall Timetabling Solutions V10 from https://timetabling.education, ensure you have sufficient permissions to install software, this is likely to be a 'local administrator'

    * re-installation may be required if the installer was interrupted during the update process or if the user does not have sufficient permissions

  • If you receive "All available updates for Timetabling Solutions Version 10 have been installed" but you are aware a later update should be available, please download and re-install V10 from https://timetabling.education

    *  this may occur if your machine was unable to reach our site to compare version numbers
