Two scenarios can produce this message:
Scenario 1. You are trying to sign in to V10, but unfortunately, you don't have the latest version installed.
Scenario 2. You are trying to log in to one of our apps, but unfortunately, your account hasn't been assigned the right role to access it.
Resolution steps for Scenario 1
If you attempt to sign in to V10, please ensure you have the latest update. On the V10 welcome page, click Check for updates and follow the prompts.
If you are unable to update to the latest version, follow these steps:
Download this zip folder: ActivateSoftware.zip
Right-click the file, select Extract All, and then click Extract.
Copy
ActivateSoftware.exe
and paste it into the folder where V10 is installed.This is usually located at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Timetabling Solutions\Timetabling Solutions Version 10
.If you do not have permission to paste the file into this location, you can double-click
ActivateSoftware.exe
to run it directly, which will allow you to activate V10.
When prompted, click Replace the file in the destination.
Resolution steps for Scenario 2
This error occurs when a user attempts to log in to one of our apps but does not have an assigned role.
Your email address is in the system, and we can confirm your password is correct; however, your account has not been given access rights.
Please ask your Global Administrator or User Administrator to:
Log in to https://timetabling.education.
Go to [1A] Manage Users, select your name, click Roles, and assign the relevant role.
If you are the Global Administrator or User Administrator and are unable to access the site, please create a support ticket.
