1. Create a SharePoint site for timetabling, add a Document Library and create the timetabling folders you require ie Project folder, Backups, Export, Published Timetables for Daily Organiser etc.
2. On the Documents Library menu, click "Sync", and select OneDrive for Business as the sync tool, and this will create the same directory on the local machine.
3. In Timetabling Solutions Version 10 | Welcome Page | Configure File Locations, update the paths, including the Publish Timetables for Daily Organiser to the new sharepoint folders.
4. Add the appropriate users to the SharePoint site and repeat the steps. This will operate in the same way as a fileserver, except allow the users to work offsite...strongly recommend they use when they have an internet connection to avoid any sync issues, which OneDrive will flag and allow them to manage if it occurs. (note: using OneDrive by itself creates versions of the files when edited by others - so the SharePoint site is required).
Change sync settings
To change the folders that sync for a site, or to stop syncing all files on a site, follow these steps:
1. Select the blue OneDrive cloud icon in the Windows taskbar notification area.
(You may need to select the Show hidden icons arrow next to the notification area for the OneDrive icon to appear. If the icon doesn't appear in the notification area, OneDrive might not be running. Select Start, enter OneDrive in the search box, and then select OneDrive in the search results.)
2.Select More > Settings.
3.To see a list of all your syncing sites, select the Account tab.
4. To change the folders that you're syncing, select Choose folders for that library, and then select the folders that you want to sync. To stop syncing a site, select Stop sync next to the site. (Copies of the files remain on your computer. You can delete them if you want.)
